Chateau de Valmer is a marvelous country
house in Provencal style, situated amidst 5 hectares of vineyards of
the same Chateau. The property is less than a mile from the beach;
actually, one can see the Mediterranean over the vineyards, from
many of the rooms and terraces of the Chateau.
There are 42 luxury rooms and apartments: 20 in the refurbished main
Chateau building, each one different, and all very comfortable and
spacious. The other 22 are in the new wing and are more hotel style
rooms (including one two level suite). These are also quite spacious
and as well beautifully decorated in Laura Ashley Style, the same as
the rooms in the main building. The new wing of the Chateau has been
so marvelously attained that one can not notice any sense of
difference when walking from one wing to the other. In these Chateau
every room, salon or terrace is impeccable and absolutely refined.
There is also splendid swimming pool with solarium which is
surrounded by hundred year old palm trees. The Chateau de Valmer is
walking distance from its sister property of lesser standing (Hotel
la Pinede Plage) but with a private beach at the disposal of Valmer
guests.
